Sharing From an iPhone to an Android via Bluetooth

Although the iPhone has inbuilt Bluetooth technology, wireless file transfer capabilities restricted by its OS. Each devices should be running a similar third-party Bluetooth file transfer application to transfer files wirelessly between an iPhone and a non- iPhone devices. As of Oct 2011, Bump is the exclusive Bluetooth file transfer application in the market for both the iPhone and android handsets. Install the free Bump app on both devices to share files through a Bluetooth.

Step 1:
Install the Bump app on both iPhone and Android devices.



Step 2
Tap the Category button for the kind of file you wish to transfer from the sender's device. 
Suppose, if you wish to send a music file from the iPhone to the Android, touch the "Music" button on the iPhone.

Step 3
Touch the particular file you wish to transfer from the list of obtainable files on the sender's device.

Step 4

Place the 2 handsets among one or two feet of each other. Shake both the  devices or else, the sender and receiver will every hold a hand set in his hand, then each bump fists along gently. This initiates the transfer and permits the devices to identify each other via Bluetooth.



Step 5 

Tap the "Accept" button on the receiver's phone to receive the file. Transfer can begin as before long  the connection is established.
